The best of the Vapensiero Day 2001 contains what was produced and made available online during the Verdi Celebrations in the year 2001. An Internet event organised with the collaboration of Italian government offices and associations world-wide. It commemorates the 9th March 1842, the date of the first performance of the opera Nabucodonosor with the world famous chorus, Va’ Pensiero. Two editions were produced: in 2001 and in 2002
