This guide, intended as an easy consultation instrument, maps out a unifying geography of the vast cultural panorama of Emilia-Romagna, illustrated through its productive and managing structures. This is to demonstrate the importance of our artistic and cultural patrimony, a constant characteristic of our region, drawing out the principal routes and suggesting some orientational points of reference in the myriad of elements that make it up. Our enormous cultural and natural patrimony, the many training and production centres in the theatre sector, the circuit of a hundred working theatres, our libraries and museums, as well as the numerous initiatives of local institutions, associations and private enterprises, feed and sustain Emilia-Romagna´s identity as a cultural region of Europe, with opportunity for cultural formation and growth.
