Un Senso Nuovo is a cultural event implemented under the two-year project " Formato 1/16 - riflessioni teatrali in margine ai libri " which brings on stage three letters of the French philosopher Simone Weil and whose thought is among the more deep and pure of the twentieth century.
The Three texts are: the Bernanos Letter on the war in Spain, the Albertine Letter on the factory and the letter to her parents.
Simone Weil, in the rigor of life as in the depth of thinking, invites us to reflect carefully on core issues of civil society. She allows us to understand what are the ways to rethink the policy and ethics.
Simone Weil manages to be simultaneously two things that rarely coexist: study documented and personal testimony. She dies at thirty-three, leaving some of the most intense works of the twentieth century.
This year is the centenary of her birth.
The two-year project “Formato 1 / 16” includes a second stage in Tokyo (February / March 2010).
